Hi.  I have an 'under consideration' stamp from Muang Thong Thani (visa exempt entry).  I was advised to come back today (April 30).  

I went April 30 and Immigration at Changwattana advised there no need to get the full permission stamp.  Anyone hearing a conflicting report?  Please be specific wrt date and which Immigration Office, pls.

Just to be sure your UNDER CONSIDERATION stamp is closed properly.

Then you are covered to July 31 under the amnesty extension.

Immigration offices are OPEN tomorrow Friday May 1...

But...Immigration offices are closed both next Monday and Thursday as Thai Holidays..

I was there yesterday and was given the ‘permitted to stay’ stamp. My ‘under consideration’ stamped expired on April 28th, but I went on the 29th, the ‘permitted to stay’ was stamped for April 30th and the officer said I will get the automatic amnesty.
