What is the visa status for a Non-B visa holder laid off during COVID-19 while collecting SSO payments?

Visa related question, if a person is employed on a non b but has been laid off during the corona (covid 19) . For which they are or will be collecting SSO payments over next say 180 days.  What is the visa status?  Currently does not expire until October.

Your visa status is depending on your what is inside your passport.

If you use a Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa and do border runs to get 90 days of stay, you can stay until the last day, but

If you have the stamp from Immigration with in the second line of text Extension of Stay permitted up to, this stamp has to be cancelled on the day you stop working.
