* Landlords submission of your data into the portal for TM30 [which they check at the office].
* Photo copies of each foreigners passport photo i.d page and current visa stamp?

I've attached an example as a comment below, of what the proof will look like, whether filed in person, via the online TM30 website, or via the TM30 app. In your case, if your landlord filed online, they will send you a screenshot that looks like the yellow image in the middle. That's what you print and keep as your proof of filing. Nothing further is needed for you to do.

For the online system? Book and title deed in addition to your list to setup an account. Then for foreigner passport data page, visa, entry stamp and tm6 (if have).
File by mail. All of the above as copies plus application and return postage envelop.

As far as I am aware your landlord does your TM30 not the renter, as they are liable for the fine if its not done
but does the renter also have to go to immigration to pick up the TM30 slip? My landlord lives in Chiang Rai...it would be nice not to have to go to immigration right after along plane trip!
The law says 24 hours but as long as it's done before you need immigration services (extension etc..) that's fine. I've filed mine 2 and 3 weeks after arrival in Sa Kaeo without issue.
in the history of the law, no Thai person has ever been fined. It is always passed to the foreignerto pay in order to do 90 day reports, extension, or immigration processes.
