Do you need the original foreign wedding certificate and MFA stamped translation etc for a 2nd renewal of a yearly extension based on marriage? Having a nightmare - they might be ""lost". (Considering Immigration should have the documents on file from last year?)

Found a photocopy of all of it but can't find the originals at the moment - will that be ok?

we don't have the translated documents as they were given to the municipality to register our marriage.

When we apply we take copies of and the ORIGINAL marriage certificate (in our case this is in English, from Australia) and an update Kor Ror 22 from the local Thai municipality where we registered our marriage. Plus a copy of that. At our local immigration office this is required to be less than a month old. You both just have to go there and tell them you're still married. They then change the date to match that day and print you a new copy. Bt20. Hope this makes sense.

we took originals, MFA certified translation etc last year. Hopefully we will find them. I think the rule is a KR22 less than 6 months old.

CALL or GO to the immigration office BEFORE you need the extension and ask them :(

each yearly extension is a new extension that stands on it's own and requires it's own documentation

I'd say yes you do, but call or go to the immigration office and ask them because there are 70+ offices in the country and they all do it a little bit different .

You do not renew.

You apply every year for a new Extension of Stay and every year you provide all the documents needed to apply for this.
