TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a NON-B visa from Suvanaket, you must first obtain a visa stamp upon entering Laos. The application for the NON-B visa can be filled out online on the e-visa website. After uploading your entry stamp from Laos, you will need to visit the immigration office in person during their operating hours. Following your submission, it could take between 3 to 15 business days to receive your visa. Note that some may be called for an interview after submission, particularly DTV visa applicants.
sorry I don't know of any I normally do it .myself as it is good to get the experience and knowledge and most of all save unnecessary spending with agencies they are very helpful but better to do alone ๐๐
Seems you've done your research already. You can pre-fill your visa application out on the e-visa website. Then once you enter Laos you can upload your entry stamp in your passport and submit. Then you'll need to go in person during their open hours.
Some people are then called the next day for an interview at the embassy, but that might be mostly DTV visa applicants. After that it should be anywhere from 3-15 business days for your visa to be issued.
cheers as far as I know go to Laos get the stamp then upload but I'm not sure after the upload how long you have to stay there before they call for you to pay the fee ? I know for sure that they will not accept walk ins so is it a appointment to pay the fee how long you wait after upload ?
I know after the fee is paid obviously we come back on a tourist visa and wait the 3-15 days just this new visa stuff is still not clear I called the immigration and they were not helpful in a sense they have not enough knowledge because it's only since Jan they have implemented this
They don't call you to pay the fee. It's on you to go pay after you submit your application. You're then required to stay in Laos until your visa is issued.
Immigration cannot answer questions about an embassy. They are completely different government agencies that have no idea about each other.
Yes, that's correct. Many reports of people applying for visas in neighboring countries and then they are asked again by the embassy for proof that they are still in the country days later, or called for an interview. If they are unable to provide the proof then their application is cancelled without refund.
