Is the 12 Mar 2020 Date for Immigration Reasonable for My Extension of Stay Based on Marriage?

I received a 90-day single-entry non-immigrant O visa based on marriage to a Thai at Savannakhet on 14 Nov 2019 and entered Thailand the same day.  I was stamped in with an admitted-to date of 11 Feb 2020.

On 22 Jan 2020 I submitted an application for extension of stay based on marriage and the under-consideration stamp instructs me to contact the immigration office in person on 12 Mar 2020.

Does the 12 Mar 2020 date seem reasonable?  Does Immigration normally base the usual 30-day under-consideration time period on the admitted-to date (11 Feb 2020 in this case), or do they normally base it on the date you submit the application for extension (22 Jan 2020 in this case).  IOW, if I wait to go to immigration on 12 Mar 2020, am I at risk of being in overstay status?  Obviously, I can make the 60km trip to Roi Et immigration to ask them, but want to see what the experts here think first.

if you got an under consideration stamp with the date of 12 March on it that's the date you need to go to the immigration office. You will NOT be on overstay because the under consideration stamp is actually the first part of your yearly extension.

Also RoiEt Immigration will likely (but not always straight away, as it depends on how busy they are) call you (or your wife) when your visa is approved.

You (or your wife) can also call them to check if it's been received by them, rather than having to make the trip in.

It usually takes about 2 weeks for Korat to process it and send it back to RoiEt.

That's why they ADDED 30 days to your current expiration date. because it's the first month of your new year extension. They'll stamp in an extension for the rest of the 11 months when you go back
