yes i think where is the china embassy .where you can find the china visa center

you should use wechat get a appointment first .then you can get a letter

normal time is monday and Thursday

that's 😊 surprise. As far as I understand, those who arrive VOA are not eligible for any extension of stay.

If they have arrived with tourist visa then they can get the 30 day extension of stay.

That is not a standard extension. It's an extension based on the embassy's request.

As far as I understand, it's not only for Chineses but some other VOA nationalities, too.

But you sure need to get the original embassy letter saying request the extension.

Chinese people would get 7 days to leave stamp if apply for a tourism extension on their VOA stamp. With these 7 days, they MUST leave Thailand. If this is sufficient, just try to apply for 30 days tourism extension for a 1,900 thb fee at the local immigration office.

Currently, they can try to apply for a Covid extension until 24 August. But they may or may not be required an original embassy letter. Anyway if it's not approved, the result would be the same, they would get a 7-days-to-leave-Thailand stamp.

Just be reminded, that those 7 days most likely start on the day of application.
