Is it advisable to apply for the DTV visa now and travel to Thailand for a short time before moving permanently?

I am planning to move to Thailand in July. I am just wondering whether it would make sense to apply for the DTV visa now and enter the country for a short time, leaving and come back in a few months. I fear that the regulations could become stricter, if not be changed completely. However, entry and exit could also cause problems. What do you all mean?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the timing of applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad) visa for moving to Thailand in July. The original poster expresses concerns about potential changes to visa regulations and whether it would be wise to enter Thailand for a short term and then return later. Comments from others suggest applying for the visa now and reassure that traveling in and out with a multi-entry visa is generally permissible unless one has a complex immigration history.

Get your visa now. You can come over whenever you're ready. Don't leave the visa until later, if you're worried about the rules changing.

This is only my personal view. If you are sure you are going for the DTV apply for it now. Entering and leaving by is not likely to be an issue unless 1) You have a complicated immigration history in Thailand 2) You are very unlicky
