Evening folks. 

I’m about to book a flight from Bangkok down to phuket. Thai smile aren’t replying. Got a bit of info from Bangkok airways, and they state that a negative Pcr test is required, within 7 days of arriving in phuket. 7 days, is that correct. Seems along time, usually 48 or 72 hours. 

Unvaccinated status.

Anybody flown domestically recently and can shed a little light on the time scales.

Another plus point for me is I had covid in October, and have since recovered.....not that I was ill anyway 😃

Exactly what I’ve seen. Just thought 7 days was a long time between a test and your flight...if unlucky you could catch covid in between those 7 days. Thanks for the reply 🙏🏼

yes, I agree ! Most of other province ask a test within 72 hours. Maybe this rule will change soon because Omicron is spreading fast in Phuket, so keep checking the Phuket center page.

Are you flying in from somewhere? I expect you get a pcr test before leaving the ASQ. . You can use that?

Thanks, by the looks of it, 7 days is the figure. I’m just going to turn up 4 days after my hotel Pcr. I’ve got a recovery cert as well So fingers crossed.

No, unvaccinated isn’t the problem, unvaccinated are allowed to travel. As I said, just looking for clarity on times before flight the test needs to be. Have a good day.

I know unvaccinated can travel. I was thinking the rules on pcr may be different for vaccinated and unvaccinated. Perhaps they aren't. Hope someone can clear up the issue of timing for you.

Hi, just finishing my 10 day quarantine. I can quite easily use the final Pcr test from hotel, although I’m staying bkk for another 2 days after quarantine. if it’s 7 days as Bangkok airways say, then no problem, but if it’s the 48 or 72 hours, then I will have to take another test. Just trying to find out what it is. 7 days seems a long time.
