Concerning the PCR test before departure, can you confirm me that it is valid 72h before the first international flight? If it is > to 72h once arrived in Thailand, it is not a big deal?
Does the 72h start at the time of the test or at the reception of the result?
I'm sorry if there were already posts about this.
Thanks !

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers to Thailand need to ensure their PCR test is taken no more than 72 hours before departure from their home country. The start time for the 72-hour validity is based on the timestamp provided on the test result. However, some airlines may have different policies, requiring tests taken just 48 hours prior. If a traveler tests positive, they should be prepared for a potential 10-day hotel quarantine upon arrival.

I'm not really sure it they are going off it hour by hour but it's best to be safe and not take the chance by making sure you do it 2 days before instead of 3

Depends where you are flying via and to... 72 hrs, 48 hrs or no longer required. Ask your airline
A big deal? Yes, if you test positive, be prepared for 10 days hotel quarantine.
Take a self test first and you can plan ahead, extend hotel, change flights, extend visa etc...

It's 72h before departure.
But! Some airway companies operate with 48h before.

Itβs 72 hours before departure from your home country. The time stated on the test result would be the time used to determine if itβs within the time range .
