Just an FYI boarded Boston to Doha last night for our BKK connection and QATAR Agent required a fit to fly, claiming it was only not required for Thai Nationals. We had decided to get it anyway. Be sure to print out the requirement page from your embassy....our first leg from Florida to Boston did not require it...😳

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent traveler shared their experience with Qatar Airways regarding the requirement of a fit to fly certificate for flights from Boston to Bangkok via Doha. Although they were required to present the certificate by Qatar staff, other comments indicated that it is generally no longer necessary for travelers to Thailand except for Thai nationals. Additionally, several users recommended bringing a fit to fly certificate as a precaution. Overall, the consensus is mixed, with some citing that recent updates might have made the certificate unnecessary.
Actually the QR website states that it is no longer required. but i had one with me too, just to be on the safe side. Dr Donna’s can be arranged in a few minutes..
it is not needed it was decided last week that the fit to fly is no longer necessary although that could change tomorrow but as of right now you're not supposed to need it

Qatar are wrong. Again. Always seem to be late updating their staff.
I would just spend $15 just for piece of mind. Same for goes for visa even though I’m just to not going to get one

Yah I saw a post earlier where it seemed practically everyone was commemting its no longer needed. And my very first thought was thats probably true but also maybe not everyone may have gotten the message so im bringing it anyway just in case.
But from Boston , Massachusetts in America. That is where the agent was that requested the fit to fly. It wasn't requested on our beginning flight from Florida or anywhere else. I tried to explain to her but she didn't want to listen and since we had it it didn't make sense to argue.
