How can I submit a TM30 form for my Thai work visa if I haven’t arrived in Thailand yet?

Hi,

I applied work visa in thai embassy, mumbai.

My all documents are clear except proof of stay TM30 form.

I provided mail confirmation from the hotel as my stay proof but it was not accepted by the consulate.

I m planning to travel on 12th feb 2025.

What I understand from the hotel, form TM30 can be filled only once I checked in hotel after arrival.

So how can I provide TM30 form to get my visa approved?

Is there any other way to provide TM30 form to consulate to get my vis approved?

Your expert opinion is highly appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing issues with their work visa application at the Thai embassy in Mumbai due to the requirement for a TM30 form, which they believe is not applicable before arriving in Thailand. Several commenters clarify that a TM30 form is indeed not required for the visa application itself, as it is used only after checking into accommodation in Thailand. They suggest that the user should focus on obtaining the work permit application form WP.3 from their employer instead.

Are you sure its not "eg: TM30", which is a possible existing document if you are already residing in Thailand and have had to leave purely to obtain a new visa and returning to same address within the check-in period.

Something must be wrong. Because no way TM .30 can be provided before you stay at a place in Thailand.

You may request your employer to write in Thai state the place you are going to stay in Thailand and it is impossible to request tm 30 when you are not staying in accommodation yet.

you need to ask your employer to provide ( work permit application form WP.3 ) it's ( WP.3 ) NOT TM30 do you understand now

absolutely incredible lack of knowledge from the Thai embassy that is processing your application . . . . have they gone haywired??? . . . . . . . . . HOW on earth would they ask you for a TM30 ? You cannot have a TM30 if you have not entered Thailand yet

^This. The TM-30 is the registration that the hotel/landlord does to notify the government that you're staying there--after you've arrived.

Perhaps they're wanting the equivalent from the hotel that you're currently at to show proof that you're in India, or picture of stamp in your passport entering India? Do you have proof of current location elsewhere already in your application?

A TM30 is not a requirement for a visa from any Thai embassy in the world. A TM30 is done when you stay at a property in Thailand to report your location. You can't have one when you're not in Thailand.
