I am Canadian and hold a non B Visa. I have a upcoming Visa run on the 6th of April and I am worried I wont be allowed back into Thailand. With the current rules you must have insurance (covers up 100 000) and must be tested for the virus within 72 hours of your return but I have heard that it's hard to get tested if you dont have any symptoms. Has anyone successfully got tested and done a Visa run? And  Where can you get tested around the Chiang Mai area?

Unless your consulate comes through for you....you may have to fly to Canada....But by the looks of the situation, all flights will probably be cancelled in the near future and all consulates will make provisions. But not yet...!!!

there are no flights linking Canada and Thailand at the moment. More than 70 Canadians are on stand by at Survanhabhumi (w/e spelling) and nothing is available.

Find a country you can fly to and from there fly back into Thailand, but be aware of the health certificate and insurance needed.

Alternative is the 1 year Extension of Stay at Immigration Office, but that has a lot of requirements.

Canadian and UK consulate operate under different rules. You can't generalise like this, please let's keep the information accurate here. Canadian consulate doesn't issue letters at this time.

you mean you like to do a border run to activate a new 90 day period on your 1 year multiple entry Non Immigrant B visa or is 6th April the last day of your 90 day period gained with using the single entry non immigrant b visa and need a new visa?
