30 day extension question:

Does it matter how much time I have left on an SETV when I apply for a 30 day extension at Changwattana?

Also, I have never filled in a TM30. Is this likely to be a problem? (I've stayed in hotels and at my girlfriend's condo).

So far TM 30 is not required for 30 days extension of Visa exempt entry or entry on tourist visa at Chaengwattna.

1. To my knowledge, no, it does not matter.

2. Yes, a TM30 should be filed for you. If you are at a hotel room now, the hotel should have filed the TM30 for you. If you are in your girlfriend's Condo, she should have filed a TM30 for you. My advice is to either:

a. Expect to pay the fine when you apply for your extension.

b. Get a cheap hotel room someplace, and the next day file a TM30 when you return to your girlfriend's condo.
