Okay, so I was approved for the DTV. Is there any reporting I need to do for my residence (I have a lease that I started when I was on a tourist visa)? Do I need up update my landlord regarding my new visa status?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Once you have been approved for the DTV visa, you need to ensure that your TM30 address registration is updated. If your TM30 is already registered, there's usually no need for additional updates unless specified by local immigration offices or if you travel abroad, which may require re-registration. It’s also advisable to report your address to immigration every 90 days. However, it may not be necessary to inform your landlord of your new visa status, but keeping them informed is typically a good practice.

As long as your TM30 already registered then no. Some Immigration Offices need you to re-register TM30 after overseas trips. No idea which ones but know Jomtien do not at moment but they change their minds!
