Do I need to have my entry and extension stamps transferred to my new passport in Thailand?

I’m picking up a new passport in Bangkok - my current UK one is damaged. I’m here on 30 days visa exemption and have extended 30 days. I’m flying out from Bangkok a few days after I pick the passport up because the 60 days ends. I’m wondering if I need to go to immigration to have my entry and extension stamps added to the new passport or whether it will be ok to just show both passports when I’m leaving? Thanks.

If you have received a new passport while in Thailand and are concerned about your entry and extension stamps, you can simply show both your old damaged passport and the new one when you leave the country. They'll stamp you out on the new one, make a notation that you entered on the old one and you'll be good to go
