Do I need to file a TM30 report after returning from Hua Hin if I've never done one before?

Hi all

l have been in Pattaya doing  90 day extentions based on retirement for the past 2 years. ( l have never ever done a TM30)

Last week l went the Hua Hin and stayed in a hotel for a week.

l returned today and went and did my 90 day report which was due.

My question is :-

Should l have done a TM30 report as l just returned from staying in Hua Hin and if l did do the TM30 will l be looking a fine for never doing one 2 years ago when l last entered Thailand.

you have not been doing 90 day extensions based on retirement :/ You get an extension for a whole year.

You have been doing 90 day reporting, and I would say that you might as well file a TM.30 because you're not going to get a new one from Jomtien when this one expires without having filed one.

The fine doesn't change based on the length of time you failed to do a TM.30. It's usually 1600baht

There are reports that jomtien is getting harder about that TM.30. Now maybe I'm wrong about them wanting proof you've done one for a 90 day report :/ BUT I know they want them for extensions of stays.

1.l just did my 90 day report no problem.

2.TM30 was not mentioned.

So l am thinking l may as well just keep doing my 90 day reports and not mention anything about TM30
