90 Day Reporting on Ed Visa?

I just got my first extension on m ED visa and was wondering if I need to do a 90-day reporting as well? I have not left the country since getting my ED visa.

The school didn't say anything about that.

, nope, what ever day you applied for your FIRST ED extension starts the 90 day count down and your 90 day report is due 89 days from that date.

SO on your current extension of stay what is the date you applied for it

 OUCH, ALL extensions inside the country are 1900baht :O

Be that as it may your 90 day report is due 89 days from the 16th or Wed Nov 13

 I did in Samui by myself. I went on a Friday and they said I have to pick it up on Monday. That's why it's 3 days.

The stamp is dated from August 16th

I paid 3000 baht for the extension

, what date is the extension stamp dated from? And what immigration office are you using that takes 3 days to issue an extension on an ED visa?

Did you go to the immigration office and pay 1900baht for your extension or did you just give you passport to your school and pay more than the extension price for the stamp you got?

 Gotcha. I applied on August 16th and got the extension on August 19th. So reporting had to be done in 90 days from August 16th?

They usually put a paper in your passport when you get your first extension that says when your first 90 day report is due. Sometimes they staple it under the TM6 departure card

Everyone that stay more than 90 days should report to immigration otherwise they will charge you next time you do your ED extension. I pay for 1900 or 900 baht (I forgot) because Im not aware for this 90 days report

Yep, usually, at least in Bangkok, the immigration will do your first 90 days report together with the extension of stay. Check for that paper that Robert posted.

I had to do my report 6 months later i got stamped into the kingdom on an ED visa. There should be a little note (on a separate paper) with a date in your passport.

 yes i got stamped in for 90 days thats true. At the first extension they gave me a note when should i do my 90 day report which was exactly the same when i should have do my 2nd extension which was 180 days after i got stamped in to the country on an ED visa.

you got stamped in for 90 days, not for 6 months. And when you visited immigration, nobody asked, told or said anything and no little note was given.

I guess you came into Thailand using a Single Entry Non Immigrant ED Visa and got 90 days of stay at the border or airport. Now you applied for your first Extension of Stay, SOME immigration offices, NOT ALL, try to keep your visits limited and make automatically the first 90 day report for you and also the 90 day Extension of Stay. Some offices notify you with this small piece of paper attached into your passport when you have to do your next report:

The answer I gave was directed to this question and this situation. But that seems to bring confusion, because other people in other situations and with other visa suddenly think the stamps in their passport all became the same stamps as the OP. No problem i deleted it and will try again.
