Can anybody advise me if you are allowed to transit through another airport to get Thailand in order to get the 1-day quarantine package? I am fully vaccinated and will fly from and through the countries that are on the safe list. 

Or does it have to be a direct flight to Thailand?

If you are just passing through your original country of departure sets the rules. If you have spent 21 days + in another country then that can be treated as your country of departure.

Transiting through an airport on your way to Thailand is allowed. As long as you haven’t left the airport you haven’t been considered to “be” in that country.

if I was reading it correctly, you have to be one of the 46 approved countries for 21 days before you come to Thailand and be able to do the one day quarantine.
