Hi I am an Irish citizan who entered Phuket on a 6 month multi trip evisa (expiring May). I got a 60 stamp on arrival expiring on 27th February. If I fly out of the country and back in do I get another 60 days with this visa or do I only get 30/45 days. I will not have done any visa extensions prior to this and it is thr only stamp in my passport. Thanks for any assistance!

You showed the eVisa PDF when you entered the country and were stamped in for 60 days right?

The visa is valid for 6 month from the date it was issued (look on your PDF which is your visa) and good for unlimited entries of 60 days each during that validity

Each of those 60 day entries can be extended one time for 30 days at the immigration office inside the country for 1900baht.

yea I got stamped for 60 days on arrival. Rather than going to immigration for 30 days I was wondering if it would be worthwhile just doing a visa run instead if I get another 60 days on reentry.

I did a few runs to the border in a minivan

Also did a few trips where I stayed away for a few days

Just do what works for u

nope, that visa doesn't get the same scrutiny as people who are bouncing out and back the same day on a free entry stamp

thanks a mil! Didn’t want to have to stay overnight! I have accommodation booked for 30 days. Will they look for departure flight from Thailand Post 60 days?

thanks Lloyd. I think it makes more sense to do a visa run and get a 60 day reentry rather than going to immigration for just a 30 day extension. I would be re entering before expiry of my evisa. Thanks
