Currently on a multi entry visa. My visa application states that I can use my visa until the 12th November. If I was to do a border bounce and fly back to Thailand on the 10th of November, do I get another 60 days extending my visa to January?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can re-enter Thailand on your multi-entry visa before it expires on November 12, 2023, and you will receive a new 60-day entry stamp. However, this does not 'extend' your visa itself—your visa remains valid until its expiration. After the new entry stamp, you can extend your stay by an additional 30 days at the immigration office for a fee.
As someone who came in on a METV 2 days befor the end, don't fly into bkk/ dmk. High chance of being held for questioning about what are your long term visa plans
it will depend entirely on the person you get that day and your stay history, but it's really not a good idea to fly into bkk if it's extensive. They are aggressive about pulling people aside. Fly some place else to enter
Phuket is better? As that’s where I will be staying long term.

as long as you re-enter the country on or before the 12 Nov 2023, you will get stamped in for 60 days
Now will it "extend your VISA"? no 😮 the visa runs out on Nov 12 2023 just like it says. BUT
exiting/re-entering on or before that date WILL give you a new 60 day entry stamp FROM the visa 🙂 (one that you can extend for 30 more days at the immigration office for 1900baht)
Thank you for the detailed explanation. So if I’m planning to convert the tourist visa into an educational visa, I can start the process after the 12th November since I will have 60 days then added on?
