Hi would appreciate your advice.I am on an Apec card here and permission to stay until May 8th.Uk passport.I know this is still some time away but havent seen anything re Apec.Can I get an extension and if so should I wait until a few days to expiry.Also should I request the letter from the British embassy.many thanks.

normally there is no extension available for people visiting Thailand for short business arrangements. If it stays like this and your flight out of Thailand is cancelled, the letter from your Embassy seems to me the only option
