TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about extending their last entry from a non-O multiple entry visa for an additional 30 days, similar to a tourist visa. A commenter responded that such an extension is not possible. They noted that the only options for extensions include a one-time 60-day extension for individuals married to Thai citizens or with Thai children, or a year-long extension subject to specific financial requirements.

itโs โonlyโ based on โretirementโ.. to be able to stay for a longer period. so no other options then to leave or having the financial requirements. Iโll do a border run to get the 60 days visa exemption instead. that was the plan anyway even I could have gotten another 30 days at immigration.
today I was told by a Visa tour company that the extra payment at Chiang Khong border is 2500 Baht in order to return on the same day and donโt need to show a return flight. (to get the visa exemption there) surly plus the Visa and transport..
