Is it possible to extend your visa in a different province than where you’re staying? Eg I’m staying in Phang Nga, but want to extend my (60d covid) visa in Hua Hin or Phuket.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to extend a 60-day Covid visa in a different province from where you are staying in Thailand, such as Hua Hin or Phuket. However, you must have the TM30 form from your registered address. While most immigration offices can process the extension, some may require a 15-day consideration period before approval, meaning you'll need to return to that same office for the finalization.
I’ve been traveling all around thailand and have used covid extension multiple times, at immigration offices in bangkok, phuket, samui and chiang mai. Phuket seems to not practice the 2 week consideration stamp. (as of jan 2022)

You can extend at any immigration office where your address is registered by way of TM30, but keep in mind many offices will put your application "under consideration" for about 15 days, and you MUST return to the same office to have the additional 45 days added to the extension

Covid extension is like a tourist visa, you can extend it anywhere in the country. You'll need the TM30 of where you're staying though for whatever immigration office you go to.

If you need tm30 but dont want to bother with the paperwork you can book 1 night in a hotel and have the hotel print a tm30 for you
Anytime a foreigner stays somewhere, hotels, guest houses, ext need to submit a TM30 notifying immigration. You need the TM30 receipt for your extension. If you're staying in a hotel they'll have done it online, just take a picture of it or ask for a screen shot.
thanks!! When I went to get my covid extension the owner of where I’m staying came with me, she must’ve showed it while I was filling out forms, so it went over my head haha
