Hello, I am currently on a COVID visa and will be running for another extension this month. I have a prepaid lease for one year for a property in Koh Phangan. Currently, I am in Bangkok due to medical reasions and I will be applying for an extension at the BKK immigration. My question is, can I apply with my registered address in Koh Phangan, or do I need to provide a new address since I am applying from Bangkok? Thank you ๐๐ผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can apply for a COVID visa extension at Bangkok immigration using their registered address in Koh Phangan, while currently residing in Bangkok. The comments indicate that a TM30 (Notification of Residence) must be filed for the Bangkok address to process the extension. Without this, an extension may not be issued.
meaning people on it must leave thailand or get a new visa before may 24th? Or, meaning they can apply for the same 60 day extension if they apply before may 24th?
at this time the last day that people can apply for a 60 day covid extension at the immigration office is May 24th

Without a TM30 filed on the address where you are in Bangkok you will NOT get a covid extension issued here. ๐
I was at immigrations yesterday and they told me if you have a covid extension from another province in order to apply for one here you need to have a TM30 filed with a Bangkok address
only people applying can get IN to the office area, BUT I did see people who got in come back out with their paperwork and their passport (meaning they didn't get to turn it in).
Now whether they were missing a document or whether they were denied applying entirely I dunno.
Thanks. I read a report on an another forum elsewhere, that a person was turned away from Lak Si after being instructed emphatically that no covid applications would be processed more than 2 weeks ahead of the current stamp. In his case, that is 24-May.
