Hello folks.

Am wondering if possible to extend 1 month tourist visa after the 15 days visa on arrival? Any official policy?

Someone mentioned it on group before. But still not clear about it.

Thank you in advance! πŸ’›

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 15-day visa on arrival in Thailand is not extendable. Although some local offices may allow you to apply for an extension, it is generally denied, and you will receive a stamp requiring you to leave within 7 days.

Thanks a lot! Or possible to get a 30days visa on arrival? Does it depend on which passport I hold?

I am in Nepal now. Just went to Thai Embassy today. They said visa on arrival only 15days. How could someone get 30days?

Chinese citizens get visa on arrival which is 15 days. Whether they’d let you buy a tourist visa in Nepal I do not know. A Tourist visa would give you 60 days and is extendable once for 30 days.
