Hi, I've applied for a non o based on marriage from UK which I will convert to a marriage visa once in Thailand. When applying for the visa from London they ask for flight details, do I have to come on the same flight/date or can I come on any flight once the visa has been issued? thanks for help

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-O visa based on marriage from the UK, once your visa is issued, you are not required to fly on the specific flight you initially provided. You can change your flight date and arrive on any flight, but keep in mind that the visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance, meaning you must enter Thailand within that period. Also, once in Thailand, you will hold the marriage visa and will need to apply for an annual extension of stay appropriately using required documentation.

Oh and you won't be converting anything once you're here. you will HAVE the "marriage visa" (Non-O based on marriage) 😮
Once you arrive, get stamped in for 90 days, you will wait until you have 30 days or less left, then you will apply for a yearly extension of stay at the immigration office where you live for 1900baht by meeting the proof of 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply and turning in the correct documentation, copies, photos, etc.
I'd say once you get here, you and your thai wife go to the immigration office and get the hand out listing the requirements so you can make sure you can get the year extension first time you apply for it (y)
