TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially arrived in Thailand on a NON-O visa based on family but was unable to extend it after three months, resulting in a transition to a 60-day visiting family visa. They inquired about the possibility of applying for a COVID extension. A commenter responded that if the application is made before May 24, it might be granted, but it depends on the discretion of the immigration officer.
