It's correct. I entered last Thursday via Wattay International Airport. The immigration officer didn't know and have to consult with a superior. Finally we entered Laos visa free for 15 days.

Do you have your own company or working for a non-thai company? Screenshot of your customers and spreadsheet of your income? You need a company and invoices.

And maybe you will have a big problem if you go this path, if they see that you have a working vidlsa and work... Be careful. Better to find another solution.

it has to be your personal bank account. Depends on the Embassy between 3 or 6 months of bank statements stable without recently added money.
Adrià ********
Depends on the Embassy/Consulate. Also the rules are changing fast. But yes, some of them now require 3-6 months of stable bank statements and no money added some days ago.

Participant anònim Each Embassy/consulate it's different. I recommend you to reach the Embassy which you will apply and ask for this questions. They're very responsive.
Adrià ********
You can apply whenever you want. But you need to apply outside Thailand.

100% agree with you, but they make the rules so...

In Vientiane the cutoff was 3 months for some and 6 months for others, depending on the netionality. For some people they ask to show them the money via bank application in real-time to believe them. They're getting more strict.

I ask at some people there and they told me. One American told me that he lost the 10k of the visa because he passed the pre-check but they finally deny the visa. Strange that this things are not in the group and many people think that it's a 100% approval rate.

Some Burmese people where rejected also because the money in their bank statements was recently added..

So...

Its true that this Embassy can be easily the Embassy with more applicants. Maybe in other embassies and consulates it's different.

@Todd ********
they deny, I saw it some people rejected for this reason last Friday in Vientiane.

Many people were rejected and it's strange that all the reports here looks like are approved, but the reality at the Embassy was different

Another important thing, 1st of October some embassies and consulates (I think Malasia and Vietnam, but idk if there will be more countries) will change the system to evisa, and the estimated processing time it will be 30 days.

@Patrick *******
the requirements can change from one day to another. So my recommendation is to wait and see reports until the day you apply. Maybe there will be another better option then than Jakarta.
