 He’s right. If police have cause to stop you and find out you’ve overstayed, you will be arrested and deported.

Will I have enough time to transfer from DMK to BKK for my flight?

I would see if you can book a taxi or car in advance. Sometimes you can queue a long time at DMK.

Alternatively, just rebook your flight from DMK. Yes, you’ll probably lose most of your fare but you’ll save on the taxi, which can be 600 baht.
