If one has not activated the international roaming at a True Office BEFORE leaving Thailand, one cannot roam outside Thailand. Most people forget to do it it seems.

If there is money on your account, the bank has not cancelled the account. But you must visit your branch in order to get a new debit card. It takes 10 minutes and cost about 200 baths.
