Hello, fellow DTV holders! Has anyone completed their 90-day check-in with this visa? Could you share what the paperwork and process are like for those of us with the same visa?
Hi. I'm currently on an extension based on a Non-O visa and been so for many years. Now I'm thinking about getting the next year's extension on my son instead. Do i have to apply for a new visa for this or am I good?
Also, does it require more or less paperwork than the spouse one?
And is it the same requirement of 40.000 B per month?
This spouse extension is a nightmare every time.
Even we are showing up with all the correct papers this officer always need something different.
Today while trying to get a tourist visa extension I was told I needed to bring with me the copy of my original eVisa letter.
Of course they told me this after I waited around for 2 hours. I think the lady was being difficult because of my visa history, or perhaps I was feeling sorry for myself. She made some comment, I couldn't make out, about "you stay long time in Thailand". Those of us who do many visas maybe the new step-child.
If you're trying to get a visa extension (or any other immigration business) I recommend bring ALL possible paperwork, flights, hotels, etc. Nothing is too ridiculous, apparently.
On the plus side, I was able to do the TM30 like 5 weeks after arriving to Pattaya. I don't full understand how all of this works. When I rented my long-term room I paid somebody there 200 baht, they filled out some paperwork on line printed, copied my passport. I thought I had completed the TM30, but it turns out I also had to give some paperwork to immigration. I gave them that paperwork today (5 weeks later) and they were cool with it.
TM30 - I'm changing residence to another place in the same province (chiang mai). Can I just submit the paperwork on the website dedicated to it? Does it work and what is the url? thank you guys
Hi. I'd like to ask a few things regarding TM30 registration on the section 38 app.
I was told that I can do the registration on behalf of the owner of the apartment I moved in with my girlfriend.
My question is that when i register her details in here, then i have to leave on the thai national tab if the owner is thai. Fill in the boxes but the bottom of the page there is a button attach file. What would that be to be attached?
What documents exactly would I need from the owner so I can do the report to the immigration that I stay at this address?
Had question about TM 30. Have never filed one. Went to immigration and they said owner would have to file since leasing
A house . I am not on lease just friend. Owner says can't be bothered . Anything we can do without the owner doing paperwork. ? Can friend file since on lease ? I just live there .
I hope isn't too much to ask but I'm afraid I'll arrive in Malaysia and not have all the correct paperwork.
I'm applying for an ED visa for my 5 year old who attends a Thai school. Samui immigration gave me a list of requirements of paperwork that i'll need from the school. Unfortunately it's in Thai so I need to trust that the school has given me the correct papers;
I'll be applying for a non- O so I need a bank statement for the last month plus a letter from the bank guaranteeing my balance (?) , Immigration told me a letter from my bank - i'm not sure what it should be stating, I assume the bank knows;
From my landlord i'll need a copy of his blue house book plus a copy of the house contract. (information received from this group a few weeks back);
Birth certificates;
and is this it?
It would be quite awful if I arrive in Penang with my baby and little girl after so many hours of travelling to be told I don't have all the necessary paperwork.
Thanks in advance to anyone who is well- informed and feeling helpful :)
