My Thai work visa is ending on the 5th of Nov, what's the best/ cheapest country do a visa run in one day and come back on a tourist visa (from/to Thailand)?
Where is the easiest place to get a single entry tourist visa to Thailand in Malaysia? KL, Kota Bharu or Penang? I already have some thai visas and stamps, so I'm looking for the easiest place. I am currently in Borneo (regards) and next month I would like to return to the mainland and go to the consulate.
I'm in process for an ED visa and was told to go to either Penang or Vientiane. I'd prefer Penang. The KL website checklist says i need a "Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin or in Thailand(for private course/program provider only"
Does this really mean I can come with EITHER an american OR a thai criminal record check? And I do NOT need both?
I have already tried emailing the embassy directly and they have returned a mass, form email that doesn't answer my question.
If anyone (especially americans) has recently applied for an ED visa in Penang or KL, I'd love to know what documents you had. If anyone knows for sure what I need, please do share :)
Hi, I'm currently in Chiang Mai and need to do a visa run. Was going to do Vientiane, however, there is no booking slot available for the whole of next week, Please advice. I may have to KL or HCMC otherwise.
After expecting to get a normal 30day visa today in Samui, I have been told it is only possible to extend for another 7days. So now need to make a visa run (by flight) in the next 7 days. Has anyone got a recommendation of a Thai embassy, in a neighbouring country, that can give the 60day tourist visa? I have heard recently mixed reviews, some do and some do not? Any advice appreciated TIA :)
