I arrive on a Tourist Visa and intend to stay for 60 days. It is quite likely I will opt to extend 30 days and perhaps a 90 day in country Non O beyond that...
~Would I be best to purchase insurance beyond my initial period (60 days) just 'incase' from the get-go or can I iron that out as and when need be from there.
p.s not asking what would be sensible but what is required to avoid backing myself into a corner.
I’m planning to come over to Thailand from Scotland in December to Marry my Thai Fiancé and setup life to stay in Thailand. Can someone please advise what is the requirement for life insurance, do I need it for visas to stay in Thailand, can I buy it in the UK but will Thai government accept it if required?
I will be coming to Bangkok from Manila and I am an Australian citizen.late October visa on arrival where can I quarantine for my 7 days. Do I still need 100 000 in a bank account advice would be appreciated keep up the good work thanks
The UK FCDO yesterday updated their advice on travel to Thailand to; against all but essential travel to the whole of Thailand. (Formerly, they'd advised only against travel to the 3 southern districts). This would invalidate most if not all insurance policies. But a valid insurance to include the covid element is a prerequisite to obtaining a CoE as I understand it. Does this not, therefore bring to a halt any travel to Thailand from the UK? Somebody please tell me I am wrong or that there is a way around this.
If I get the 60 day TR visa and a matching 60 day insurance but I extend the extra 30 days on the TR visa, do I need to get another 30 day insurance to match? I don't want to pay for 90 day insurance if my 30 day extension gets denied
