Hi, for the yearly extension of non imm o visa based on marriage it is possible instead of the thai bank deposit to give a certified letter from the embassy that shows my salary? Thanks.
I think I have seen the question here but unfortunately can’t find the thread.
I’m in Thailand right now since 2 months on a tourist visa, I’ll go to Taipei in few days to apply online for the DTV.
Could there be any doubt not to get approved as they can see I got salary but I was the last two months in the country, which mean I was working illegal in Thailand.
Has anyone in Australia applied for a workaction DTV recently and supplied their girlfriend's address as where they will be staying? Any problems encountered with this or additional questions asked (e.g. need copy of house book, ID card etc)?
I am going to get her to right a short letter of invite, but not sure if it needs to be handwritten and hand signed (as opposed to signed digitally which does not prove it came from her) , or whether it is better to be in Thai or English?
Does anyone know if you can keep extending every 6 months for the 5 years or you can only do 6 months in a calendar year one time?? Would love some clarity on this issue ....
In previous years I have been able to obtain a Non O immigration eVisa with 1 year validity, multiple entries and 90 days per trip. This was based on a support letter from my long standing Thai girlfriend (we are not married) of over 15 years. Multiple entry to allow me visit my son in Australia whilst in Asia Pacific and re-enter Thailand a 2nd time.
This time when I applied for the eVisa they issued a single entry Non-O with only a 3 month validity. The visa doesn’t state the number of days per entry. I’m guessing it’s only 60 days or perhaps 30 days.
Is the former option no longer available? Can one “appeal” or request a change to an eVisa? Thanks.
