I’ll do my first 1 year O A extension in the next couple weeks.
As soon as that is done I will start on the LTR.
To be safe I will wait until my home country 2024 tax return is done since that combined with other documents should clearly demonstrate the annual income. I also need to get my name on the house, which should take a couple months.
I’d rather avoid an agent and going thru the requirements on the BOI site everything seems fairly straightforward.
Hi folks. I’m asking this for a friend in Phuket. She is about to lease her house to a couple of South African young ladies who are in Phuket for teaching jobs. I said to my friend that she should make sure she completes TM30 within 24 hours of the girls moving in. She has been told (not by Immigration) that the tenants have to report their residency themselves and she as landlord doesn’t have to do TM30.
Has something changed in Phuket or is the advice she was given incorrect. My friend should do the TM30 or risk a fine.
My landlady said she sent the documentation needed for the T30 last Thursday, but this is after 24h from my last entrance in the country - Shall I wait and see if we receive any response? (Do they get back?). Shall I go on my own and arrange things without the documents from her/from the house? (She wouldn't give them to me).
