Hey , so around the summer of 2027 I’m going to be leaving out the army (not retirement) I’ll be 28 and my plan is to use my gi bill to go to college full time learning Thai for 4 years. Any advice of work from home jobs certifications or savings amount and anything else that is recommended to make the move easier that I should do before I move there. I have 2 years to prep.
Stupid question maybe, but if you’re closing deals and getting money sent to you while you’re in Thailand, this is all okay as long as you’re on DTV visa or getting paid in your western countries bank account? What’s considered working in Thailand Vs not?

Hello Everyone! I would like to know the procedure to open a online e-commerce business in thailand as a foreigner (Indian). I want to start a small cloud kitchen from my home in Thailand and want to register it on all local food apps. Could anyone who knows about it let me know the process. I’m on student visa currently.
Not visa related but just a heads up for those out there who are addicted to Lazada and other ecom sites. If you are like me and go there for those small things that we can find in local stores, some changes are afoot that will likely impact cost of buying on line. Govt is planning to remove the B2500 deminimus below which there is no duty or VAT on imports. The duty and VAT element may not turn out to be high for items with low value, but the cost of handling the customs charges will be passed on the customer (you) and this is a fixed price which could be as high as B1000 depending on carrier. So important to check when you buy whether it is being sourced outside Thailand and the expected total charges to avoid any nasty surprises. It may or may not happen, but this govt is quite keen to top up its tax coffers and this is an easy target, which will also help small thai business’s so a populist move.
Hello! I have a Thailand Shopee account from when I lived there but now live in Vietnam. Are there any forwarding companies that can help ship my purchases to me? A lot of my favorite stores on there don’t sell on any other platforms.
