Are there any regional Thai consulates in Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia etc that offer double entry tourist visas as they used to do, or is that now available only in one's country of origin? Follow up question: do you have to show financial documents to apply for a tourist visa and what kind? I will probably go to Vientiane. Thx.

Which Thai Consulates/Embassies close to Thailand (which you can fly direct to) still issue Double/Multiple Entry TOURIST Visas for U.K Citizens please?

I know before that Singapore would only ever give you a Single Entry TOURIST Visa, and that Kuala Lumpur was also pretty much the same, and it seemed that Penang was the only place you could go to have a chance of obtaining a Double/Multiple Entry TOURIST Visa.

Is this still the same please? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance :)

I just read about this new visa but can't find anything on how (or where) to actually get one. A local lawyer

mentioned this was a good option if I can travel to a consulate outside of SE Asia (Europe, USA, etc).

Has anyone had one of these new visas and where did you get it? Are these available in USA, France, Spain or UK?
