I arrived on "Test & Go" at BKK on 23/12. Negative result. Given an ATK test kit: didn't understand what to do with it or it's results. Waited for "alert on day 6-7" to see if any further info given. Today (day 14?), I got 1st alert from Morchana, asking for RT-PCR result to be uploaded. Huh? I saw the message only briefly & it can't be accessed on the app.
I've no idea what is required. Upload day 1 test result? Get a 2nd RT-PCR? Do they really mean ATK result? Anybody with a similar experience? Any possible repercussions for ignoring it? (btw I've seen other posts mention a "pink slip": I wasn't given one & don't know what it is)
For Americans - this was my covid testing experience/timeline (November 2021). I went to both Walgreens and CVS in Southwest Florida.
Walgreens: Scheduled my appointment for 2:15PM on a Sunday. Waited ten minutes in the drive-through before reaching the window. Took over fifteen minutes to get the kit in my hands - the person administering them seemed extremely disorganized. Clueless, too - I asked if the results would have "RT-PCR" written on it and she had no idea what I was talking about 😬. Was also told I’d get the results in a couple hours, which freaked me the hell out (thought I was given a rapid test), but I think they just misspoke. Sample was received by the lab the next day (Monday) - Walgreens says they don’t usually ship their samples on weekends, so be aware of that. Results came back on Tuesday at 10:30AM, so all in all it took a little less than two days (44 hours). The service was terrible, though, so I wouldn’t go to Walgreens’ again if I had the choice.
CVS: Scheduled my appointment for 11AM on a Monday. Waited forty minutes in the drive-through before reaching the window. Received the kit within a minute. I asked if the test would have "RT-PCR" written on it and she said she thought so. With their system you cannot see when the lab has received your sample, so no info on that. Results came the following day (Tuesday) at 5:45PM, so all in all it took about a day and a half (31 hours).
Greetings, as per my COE approval, I have to take and pass a RT-PCR test. The testing center tells me that RT-PCR and PCR test are the same. What's your experience on this. I want to do everything right. Could someone confirm on regular PCR test is good enough for COE requirement. Many thanks! J
