What is the procedure for paying the overstay fine? I am leaving Thailand two days after my extension runs out. Unfortunately, I am stuck here waiting for a document to get notorized that my employer needs outside of Thailand. So it will be a few days. Where will I pay the fine in the airport? Right at the immigration desk?
Hello everyone. I have a year-long non-O in my old passport, which has all pages filled up and I now have a new passport. Is there a process required to officialize/transfer the non-O stamp? Or do I just carry both the old and new passports?
My old non-O stamp has only 2 months validity left, so would it be easier if I just applied for a new non-O instead?
-Transferred to Covid Extension Visa September 2021
- Yesterday went to get my covid extension in phuket immigration and was told in January rulings changed for individuals on specific types of visa including education, non b, o etc
- Was stamped for just 7 days with the option of contacting my embassy for a potential 30day extension or leaving the country. Covid extension is no longer available to someone who had an education visa previously
My question:
Has anyone contacted their embassy (British specifically) with regards to extending their 7 day visa and any successes even if it wasn’t a British embassy?
I’m happy to leave and come back but it would be more convenient to stay if it’s an option. Want to know now as I need to book flights asap if Im going to leave the country
In the situation of a person getting dismissed from work without notice. What steps should they take to get converted onto an Extension of Stay due to C19. The Non-B visa expires in March 2022 and the employer is expected to try and cancel said visa soon. How long are the legally supposed to give in this case?
Can one go to immigration and convert the visa themselves or is there paperwork need from the school to do so? TIA
Hello all, update on doing 90 report at Promenada Mall, Chiang mai, today 24 March at 10.15 am, the hardest thing is to find the immigration office, same level as Rimping Supermarket, go up the allyway, beside the Bangkok Bank. Ladies outside checked my passport, TM 47, and last receipt, all good, gave my back my passport, TM 47, and queue ticket 10, went straight to counter inside, 2 minutes and I was out again, no other documents required, too easy
