Hi I am coming back to Thailand next week. I need to receive a call from my hospital consultant during my stay. I have a EE pay as you go sim but the call charges are excessive £1.80 a minute!! They cannot call me by whatsapp or messenger I also have a Thai sim card but I do not think they can make an international call. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Hi all. So I'm making a big plan to travel across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia. I'm pretty sure I'm going to want an eSim. Anyone got any recommendations? Last trip to Thailand I got an AIS 5G SIM card and I was getting lag when using instagram (videos and posts slow to load). This time I got a AIS 4G SIM and it's basically the exact same speed. I did a speed test and it's about 10MBS.

I learned from a visit to the AIS store with help from a local that they throttle speeds for foreigners, and if I want a faster speed, I need a plan/contract, but that it requires a Work Permit, which I don't have. But I do have LTR visa.

Wondering what you recommend for the fastest, best value mobile data SIM card that I can get on a LTR visa.

I’ve been doing some research on a SIM card.

I have been looking at this with the AIS social sim for 50B… am I right to assume with these terms and conditions that I will get unlimited Internet for 50B for 30 days?

I am really wanting just a sim for Internet. Max 200B a month but everywhere I go, they want to sell me a tourist sim. I am here for 2/3 months.

I read through the previous posts of going to 7/11 but I’m on Koh Phangan and they only have “true” that I’ve seen.

I just wanna be able to go into a shop and say “I want this..” 😅

Any information and step by step guidelines for dummies would be really appreciated 🙌

I have very disturbing problem.

I can not use My bank cards for online to buy ticets or something else.

Bank sending one time code to my Australian or Turkish phones.

But here I use an Thailand number and I can not reach my phones to get code.

I have sim cards of both phone numbers.

You guys having similar problem like me?
