I have a question if anyone can help. I am an American currently living with my Thai girlfriend here in Thailand. I am trying to figure out how to go about getting her a tourist visa to come with me and visit my family in the US. Someone has said I have to go back to the US and apply there for her to come visit, is that correct? I want to be able to do it here as I am living here. What do I need to do? I want to bring my Thai girlfriend to the US for 2 weeks but she applied for a US tourist visa with her mom 3 months ago and was rejected. She wanted to take her mom to the US to visit her sister who lives in Tennessee. Any idea why her appplication might have been rejected? Is there anything I can do to ensure that her next application gets accepted? Should I go with her to the US embassy and sit with her during the interview? Should I tell the interviewer that she is my girlfriend? I need to travel to the US for medical reasons and I want her to be there with me. Should I mention that? Will they even allow me to be there during the interview? I've never done this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙏
