Hello everyone I've got to do my first 180 days leave on my dtv myai Thai and leave and come back. I'm just wondering if I can do a land boarder crossing or by air is better ? Also if I can do on the same day instead of staying somewhere for 4-5 days? Please help I've been doing my research around and can't seem to find any real information it seems to be all up in the air at moment does anyone no anything about this please?
If I applied for visa in uk , to arrive bkk , but I actually changed my route and wanted to enter by land boarder from canbodia into Thailand, would that be still OK
Will it still get approved when arrive at the gate
I exited Thailand on a Tourist visa recently. Immigration pulled me aside and said I cannot cross again. I don't know why because I have never entered or exited Thailand by land before and have just one Tourist visa stamp. I had a marriage visa prior but let that expire and hopped on a tourist visa before doing the necessary for the DTV.
I secured my DTV. I have the physical stamp in my passport now.
Does anyone know if I'll have problems crossing by land now that I have a DTV visa in my passport?
I had some say I've been flagged and it matters now that I don't cross by land again but I can't believe it's true unless I was trying for a tourist visa on arrival.
We're flying to Thailand on the 24th . Just with the one way ticket . We plan on getting dtv in Cambodia . We know immigration will have an issue with not seeing an exit ticket .
Would a reservation to a Cambodia hotel suffice . Traveling by land from Thailand to Cambodia .
Hi, is it true that if you've entered on the 60-days visa exempt and then extended 30 more days you have to fly out at the end, and can't just cross the land border with Laos and cross back again for another 90 days? Many thanks!
I need your advice bacause I am really confused. I have a Korean passport which is a Visa exempted to Thailand.
I am currently staying in Laos and I have been to Thailand 3 times by crossing a land border named Chong Mak since April 9th. I attached the photos of my passport for your reference. I read many postings of 2 times limitation to enter Thailand per calendar year by land crossing. I thought I could cross to Thailand through land borders without any limitations. Please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers!
I am a resident in Chiang Mai and currently hold an O visa, which allows for a single entry. Will be taking a holiday in Lao, exiting Thailand by land near Nan, and returning at the same crossing. Which would be more convenient (time): applying for a SE stamp at Chiang Mai IMO before the trip, or when returning from Lao to the Thai border? Has anyone experienced this at land crossings? Thank you.
Hi all thanks for the add. A border question. If I’m arriving and departing Thailand by land, via Malaysia, do I still need proof of planned departure? Would a bus or train ticket do?! And I presume visa requirements are the same at a land border as at an airport?
