I have been on the COVID extensions since the beginning of COVID, Jan 2020. (it has been an amazing run and I am super grateful). I am extending from a previous Tourist visa and I typically go to Changwattana for extensions. I am not really sure if I will be allowed this last COVID extension. My current extension is until March 20. Is there any way to ask or find out if I will be allowed another one? Is there a phone number to call or should I make the trip out to CW to ask them in person? Do you think I will be able to get an answer? Just want to figure out if I should start making plans to leave next month or in April/May. Does anyone else have a similar situation? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can obtain one final COVID extension for their Tourist visa, which is currently valid until March 20, following multiple extensions since January 2020. They are uncertain about the process and whether to inquire in person or over the phone at the Changwattana immigration office. Several comments suggest that the outcome may depend on the individual immigration officer and recommend preparing a backup plan for leaving Thailand.
I agree. But I it would be frustrating to make all the arrangements to leave then find out I could stay. Plane tickets right now are still pretty cheap for next month. Anyways, hopefully there are more reports coming out soon.

The problem is that any answer you get without going there and applying means nothing.
Your application will be approved or denied by the specific immigration officer you are talking to at the time of application. That person alone will make the decision. So if someone else gives you an answer today, but you apply with a different immigration officer tomorrow, the answer may not be the same as it's based on the judgment of the each individual officer.
If the officer got stuck in traffic and is having a bad day, you may be denied.
If the officer is having a good day you may have better odds. It's all down to luck really
yeah that is a problem. But to be honest, I have done it so many times I recognize the 2-3 officers that always do them. Maybe I can specifically ask one of them.

"Hi. I entered Thailand on January 2020 on a multi entry tourist visa. I have been using the covid extensions since then. Does anyone know if I am still eligible for the next covid extension or should I plan on having to leave? I have a usa passport. Thanks ๐"
Thanks. Just want to follow up if making an in-person trip to CW is the only way to ask? If anyone else has gotten an answer who might be in a similar situation
