Hi; on my first visa run I went to arranyaprathet (not been here a few yrs) and was refused same day return and a red stamp detailing this in thai was entered into pp and flew back
2nd time I went to Ranong for land crossing.
Question is, I wonder if the first refused attempt will be counted as a cancelled entry, and uses up one of these land entries? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether a refused entry during a first visa run to Arranyaprathet would count against their land entry limit for subsequent visa runs. Comments provide reassurance that the refusal should not count since the user did not actually enter Thailand, and suggest waiting until after January 1st or using a border run company to avoid issues. Additional comments mention recent requirements at Ranong immigration, including proof of finances and residence.
Yup, same as before, pay the 2k and its a pleasant morning. I did see a bunch of vagabonds cross too who paid things separately and cross successfully, I think first visit you're excused.
