TLDR : Answer Summary
After applying for an extension letter from the British embassy and not hearing back within the promised two working days, you should consider contacting them again on the next working day, which is Monday. Many users have found that a follow-up email can expedite their request, so reaching out for updates is advisable, especially given the busy nature of the embassy.
And you cannot submit your extension request to immigration until one or two days before your current permission to stay ending date...they are busy too.

I had same problem. Sent a follow up email and received letter within 2 hours. I must say the brittish embassy is not very good at keeping us up to date

I'm guessing contact them on Monday. Monday should be the next working day.

if you like to have the letter, contact them again and tell them you did not received the letter.
