Guys, I’m over the moon right now! πŸ˜πŸŽ‰ I finally got my visa today 4.40pm, January 17th! I started my application on Sunday, the 12th, in HMC, and after just one week, the long-awaited email arrived at 4:40 PM today! On Tuesday, they requested some additional details about my company (Workation with my own business), and that was it.

Thank you all so much for your help and support along the way! πŸ™

What company profile? As in social media? I’m looking to get a visa, but I’m not sure which one.

The easiest visa in Thailand to get and yet people get so excited with messages of congratulations! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Anonymous participant 762 It depends where you apply on the ease of approval. Some embassies are way tougher than others to apply. There is no 5 year multi entry visa like this in Thailand and elsewhere I believe so people excited at having one is understandable.

Probably. I switched from non-O retirement visa to DTV. Took five days in Sydney. No drama. There's more paperwork involved with extending a non-O marriage visa. I must have missed out on the ecstatic euphoria of congratulations. To me it's a simple process of providing documents required

Anonymous participant Celebrate being a DTVer and you made a great point about the years in waiting to get such a visa. It is an excellent way to be able to live in Thailand.

I just landed at BKK, I did not show a printable DTV , I only showed my phone with the pdf, but it seems enough at least for this officer, anyway I think if you can print (I had two copies just in case), much better.
