I am on an Education visa. My daughters would like to visit. They will be 13 years old. Any idea of what visa they can get that is longer than a 1-month tourist visa? They hold Canadian and Japanese passports.
cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on an Education visa in Thailand and is inquiring about long-term visa options for their 13-year-old daughters, who hold Canadian and Japanese passports. Community responses recommend applying for Single Entry Tourist Visas, which allow a 60-day stay with an option for a 30-day extension at the Immigration office, rather than pursuing more complex visa types.
If all they're doing is visiting for a couple months just get them both single entry tourist visas. That gives them 60 days and they can extend it by 30 more days without a problem at the Immigration office.
I wouldn't even fool with Non-O's or any other type of visa unless they're gonna move here and live.
, you could, but I'd say cross that bridge when you come to it. Get them single entry tourist visas get them here for 2 months and if they want to stay longer extend it by 30 days at the immigration office

In case we want them to stay longer, at their age, can they apply to go to an international school if I am on an Education visa?

Correct, they would apply for the single entry tourist visa at the thai consulate in the country they're in before they come here
they don't qualify for a visa on arrival <- that is something people from 21 countries BUY for 2000baht when they show up here and it's only for 15 days.
If they came in on their canadian or their japanese passports wtihout having bought a tourist visa from a thai consulate before hand they would get stamped in on a 30 day visa exempt entry

Understood. So, we'd have to apply to a Thai embassy from Japan as it's not visa on arrival.
