Asked a question a while back about the bank statement to prove monthly income. Someone said you had to choose "for long term visa" as the transfer reason. There was some other input.
These are the options. None talk about visa. Thoughts?
EDIT: this is a wire from an E-Trade account.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the correct designation for bank transfer reasons in light of proving monthly income for long-term visa applications in Thailand. Users suggest labeling transfers as 'long-term stay in Thailand' when using platforms like Wise, and some share experiences regarding the bank's reliability in processing these transfers. The conversation also explores different options available for wire transfers, focusing on ensuring proper documentation for visa requirements.
how long have you used it? I did one transfer and was amazed at the speed. Then I had some circumstances that required rapid action and WISE said it would take 7 days so I did another thing... Does it sometimes just take a while?
5 years. 4 years now and again and the last year once a month. Never had a problem . I dont need transfers in seconds. A couple of days or less suits me fine.
if you had used WISE, you could have checked the box "property purchase in Thailand" and it would show in your Thai bank account as an FET having come from abroad. And the same applies to the purpose "funds for long term stay in Thailand"

I have a very long term visa transfer 2 times a month. I have never been asked. What bank you have?
krungsri. I've never used it. This is my first year and I started with the bank balance, but my intention is to use income going forward as I've been doing the monthly transfers for a couple years now.
your choice of a Thai bank was poor. With the Krungsri Bank, when you use WISE for transferring, you can only send a maximum of 49.999.- THB in one transaction. If you had opened a bank account with the Bangkok Bank or the Kasikorn Bank, you can transfer up to 2 million THB in one transaction. With the SCB, you could transfer 1.5 million THB in one transaction. . . . . . so, by using WISE and Krungsri, you will need to do two transactions if you plan to send a minimum of 65.000.- THB. Immigration will not be overly happy having to check your bankbook and the need to calculate ๐ . . . . So, WISE is not an option, only a direct SWIFT transfer from your U.S. Bank account will do the trick since the money has to get coded as coming from abroad.
that's okay then. I was referring to the use of WISE for such amounts. SWIFT transfers can be made over higher amounts per one transaction, than the 49.999 limit set up by WISE. And SWIFT transfers from your U.S. bank account to your Thai Bank account should automatically show as coming in from abroad in your Thai bankbook. I am just confused by the picture you posted - do you use your bank, or a transfer provider? Because that's where it is never clear how the transaction will be coded. You need to clear this with the provider
first time I used WISE I was amazed. The second time it claimed there was some problem and my transfer would take 7 days and I cancelled it. I am not asking about WISE.
