Hello,

I know it may sound stupid to some people, bit what do I book first. The Phuket sandbox hotel or the flights?

I'm also looking for a link to book the 2 PCR Tests.

I had no problem using agoda to book my hotel in November for Test and Go in Phuket. I just uploaded a screen shot of the booking confirmation from agoda and that was accepted for the Thai Pass.

Flights booked, checked on covermore.au for my insurance, seems ok.

Next I have to book a sandbox hotel ... 🙄

PCR before I leave Australia 72 hrs (at the moment) then hopefully the sandbox hotel will help me with the necessary PCR tests while I'm there 🤔

does Covermore insurance pay for hospital expenses if you test COVID positive WITHOUT SYMPTOMS?

Ask them for answer in writing.

Many expats are testing positive...

Make sure you have insurance that pays.

Probably start with the flight because ideally the hotel will be meeting you to take you straight to quarantine.

I’ve read that Agoda confirmation has worked for some people. My experience is that it’s best to book direct with a hotel and they will want you to pay before they issue confirmation so you can apply for Thai Pass. First test is at Phuket airport then second should be near your hotel. Hotel can tell you which “Swab Centre”. Can book both tests through PSAS😀

I booked and paid for the PCR Tests via the Thailandpass application. 4000 something THB.

I got Agoda booking and payment confirmation, but that doesn't look like I can upload on the Thailandpass application!?

I’ve just done an application for TP today and I think you can just upload your Agoda confirmation instead of one direct from hotel. That’s worked at least for some people. Was relieved to pressthe SUBMIT button at the end. Still a bit of a process but easier than last year getting COE!!

in my experience definitely not. You need the hotel to provide clear confirmation that they are providing an approved quarantine package for you.

As long as it spells out that it's alternative qurantine. Sha+ just means it meets certain hygiene standards.
